Enjoy the Peace and Quiet

HISTORY

More than 50 years ago, the Davis family acquired this land which was added to the Davis Ranch, which straddles the Faulkner/Pulaski County Line on Highway 107, south of Vilonia. Nearly half a century later, the Davis family decided to subdivide a portion of the Davis Ranch, in southern Faulkner County, and formed the Seven Point Lake LLC, as the developing entity.  The name derives from the seven streams that feed the lake.

A master plan was developed for the entire ranch and Jack Castin, of Jack Castin & Associates, was brought on board to provide expertise in large-scale community planning.

In addition to the 22-acre Seven Point Lake, the community was designed to be a fun and secure place to live and raise a family. Lots are extremely buildable, while most of the sloped terrain has been designated as permanent open or green spaces.  Walking trails were planned to connect each part of the community, as well as to ring the lake. A series of open spaces link the pedestrian trail and the green belt areas running through the community.

A mandatory property owner’s association exists to benefit the property owners by maintaining common areas. The lake was designed to be a premier fishing lake with input from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission on construction of ideal fish habitats.

The views are, indeed, stunning. Looking west, one can see towers in Conway and on clear days, Petit Jean Mountain can be seen from the new view lots in Phase 2. Looking southwest, one can view the buildings in downtown Little Rock. The tabletop mountain to the northeast is called Round Mountain in the El Paso community. Many lots have a direct view of Seven Point Lake.

My family’s lived in Seven Point Lake for around 9 years. From being able to fish within a couple of steps from my house to enjoying a breathtaking view of fireworks cast over the reflection of the lake on 4th of July-it’s a wonderful adventure. You can’t beat the feeling of knowing you live in a gated community-somewhere you know your family can live in safety. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my family to live.
